Friends Game Lag

My friend says that when he moves theres no lag but as soon as he moves the mouse the game gets bad lag? Is that because of his computer or a game bug?

What kind of lag?  Framerate or network lag?  cl_drawfps 1 will probably tell you pretty quickly.  What kind of computer does he have?  Can it play other games OK?

oh yes i should have told him about draw framerate, i'll let him try that out then post back here.
