I need a map-making tutorial. i have one already, but it gives me problems when i compile. Anyone?

Unfortunately the way the compile tools are set up, they expect to see a "quake2" directory.  Just make a directory called "quake2" and put stuff in there...  I'm not sure why the compile tools were written like that, but ya just have to deal with it.

Here's another problem...
     I can't load very many textures. i have the "texture directry" set to my...um...paintball2 texture directory. it's only loading some textures. what's my problem?

Did you read the tutorial that came with BSP ? You have to use quake2 DP's textures.
