Subspace

Just had noticed that the 4v4 league of pbcup is setup a lot like 4v4 leagues I used to play in subspace, and both games have been around comparably the same times. Anyone involved in subspace? Or is this just coincidence?

I think it's just the way a lot of leagues are set up.

Subspace... is that the 2D ship game -- kind of like a jazzed up MMO asteroids?  That's oldschool right there.  Didn't know people still played that.

haha yah jitspoe, that's the one. I haven't played it in a year or so, but it's still going pretty hardcore. Also the layout of pbcup website is very similar to subspace's league website (premier.shanky.com). I guess that's is a pretty standard layout though.
