I think it's more likely that the video card started overheating because the fan stopped spinning, rather than the other way around.  You could always go to some place like newegg.com and order replacement video card fans.

Exactly, overheated because of the broken fan. I think newegg doesn't ship to Finland? Gotta search for some other place. No clue where they are sold.

probably beyond the point of return, i wouldnt mess with a new fan (especially since you couldnt even figure how to pull the card). your ati is probably good enough for this game. just need to get it out of your head that you need 1000 fps/

Well, yeah. Even the ATI card gives me 100-200 fps in dp so i don't necessarily need that. But it can't take any harder games.

No, lol. I didn't touch it. Probably because the overheating. It was 125 celsius.
