BugMeNot.com was created as a mechanism to quickly bypass the login of web sites that require compulsory registration and/or the collection of personal/demographic information (such as the New York Times)
Well I've been using this thing for a while now, it basically gives you an already created login for sites that frequire you to register to obtain free material.
There are two points of view over this site, one that it is ethically wrong, as webmasters may be losing money through not recieving these registrations, and another is that information that is labelled as free, shouldn't require anything from you, ie your personal informatiom

The site does try and block logins given for websites that you have to pay to register for...so anyway there you go.
