Yeah, TS3 easily beats Vent and TS2. I've used 'em all.
Most people seem resistant to change mainly because they're used to one thing and don't want to learn something new, or because of peer pressure (as most of the DP community seems to use Vent). Both are lame reasons to me.

yea i've used TS3 and Ts2 and my opinion stays the same. its just the fact that i dont know when the hell my mic is keying up so i almost have no clue when to talk. and then its harder to figure out problems if theres a USB mic put into place.

It's called change the settings. lol TS3 does have the option to play clicks when the mic activates/deactivates. :P

Speaking of which -- another thing I love about TS3 is that its voice activation/detection is 10x better than Vent's.

I know what Mohawk is -- I actually tried to get that when I was first buying X servers, but something about their setup is screwy and it didn't work out, which is why we're on TS3 now.

My point still stands.

Obviously ventrilo have their negative points. I think that link can lead you to my point.

MOFO, I'm sure TS3 has anti-spam settings too (haven't looked for them tho).

But again, this thread is not about which voice chat system is better.
