Need help with usb

i use a mp3 player but i deleted a partition by accident i deleted the wrong partition and now i cant even format the drive i open the drive e and it says to insert a disc i tried error checking it did nothing not even an error so i am stuck wondering what to do pls help me ty

oh and when i go to use it the screen of my mp3 says disc error  :(

1.  use linux (like the built in partition thingy, like ubuntu has), it'll probably do it.
2.  if linux doesn't work, buy a new stick, better than wasting your time, and they're cheap these days anyway.
