Talk without being on the server

Is it possible that there is a bug that allows a player to say something on a server when he isn't on the server or just disconnected?

This happened 10 min ago:

Whaley got kicked
Whaley disconnected
...
[Elim] Whaley: HAHA umad?
[Elim] Whaley: LMFOA
[Elim] Whaley: I'll hack this server.

He didn't reconnect and was not visible on the scoreboard.

If you connect to a server, you can write something while the map, textures,... is loading. It's in the time between you connect to the server and join the game.

haha, sure he is't able to hack a server^^
I only wanted to know how it is possible to write without being visible in the players list. Terrorist answered and i checked this in the logs and everything was clear. I didn't give a darn what he told us ^^
