I'm making a map. Yay.
« on: June 21, 2006, 04:50:18 PM »
On a whim last night, I started making a map. If I don't post about it here, I'll just give up on it, not to mention get no feedback.

Sooo... yeah. I've got pretty much nothing so far, but I'll describe what I'm gonna do for the middle area. I'm going to need lots of help as to what to do there, though.

And here's what I have so far. Final Compiled.

EDIT: Screens. There's not much to look at right now, though.

Just what I have so far as to the layout: (Like I said, not much.)

The base will be behind this wall. There will be more than one way in, and I hope to make this wall look better somehow.

The door that'll open to the middle area.

Texture alignment problem that's really bugging me. I can't figure out how to fix it, apart from making that door way three separate brushes.

That dirt's a placeholder, so that the map wouldn't leak, so that I could light it. Like I said, very incomplete.

heh, and there I was running into it hoping it would open, I even brought a shovel with me to get through it, but there was nothing on the other side.

That's really off-topic. But you use clipping planes.
