Well I don't know if this is possible... but could the scoreboard be very small (20% of the screen) and scrollable with mousewheel (to allow it to be small) so you can still play whilst having the scoreboard up.. that would mean binding it to a once press on; twice press off aswell. Maybe I want to play and glance up at the scoreboard without effort or stopping my shooting/movement- to see who is still alive/ who has flag/ various k/ds

That's not currently possible because the menu system takes the mouse focus.  At some point, I plan to add context menus, so you can do things like right-click on player names and ignore/specinvite/etc.

I dont talk about mouse focus and stuff like that... And of course, the scoreboard will remain the same size!
I cant change that in a proper way to be useful! It would be just a big plane of nothing...

I talk about the main menu itself...


@Jitspoe:
I have two wishes!
- Make the HUD customizable (That would be soooo sweet!)
- Positioning of widgets in precentage. (relative to screen resolution e.g. 1024x768 with widget at xabs 25% and yabs 75% would be at 512 and 576...)
- In addition --> relative to the border of the screen would be so nice too but i think that it would be possible with the percentage too! The percentage thing is right atm the most important thing to make scaleable menus!

When I try to use statusbar it says statusbar.txt is missing.
And possible resolutions?

read the readme again and follow the instructions...

Thats no wonder! You resolution isnt supported by OpenMenu and you have to pink one of those in the menu!

Thats my fault because i did such a bad design, that isnt scaleable... Im sorry for that!



So pick a resolution from the settings in the menu, then try it again and it should work!
Resolutions are: 800x600,1024x768,1280x720...
gl_mode 15 isnt supported...

Please note that you shouldnt use the statusbar in windowedmode! If you resize the window you maybe not be able to see the bar! Its fix to the resolutionsetting!
