I am JMR, I've been here for a year now, it's nothing compared to how long the game has been here for! It's great to see a new clan, just a few things to help you get started:
(1) Firstly, I recommend you use mIRC or KVIRC, there are guides all over the internet and on the forums. You can get KVirc here:

(2) Get on teamspeak. If you want a competitive, good clan, teamspeak is the way to go forward. You can use your voice, so when you get eliminated, you can recon to your teammates where the enemy is. Join otb-server.de and/or clanprozak.us
(3) Enter into sPecial tournaments.

(4) Find out what maps you are best at, almost every clan has a list of their favorite maps that they like/are best at. You need to discover what you are best at, so that when it comes to choosing your map, you'll know what maps you stand a best chance on
(5) Know where to lease match servers. There are a few options available. I host a match rental tool for #sPec# match servers. You can lease them here:
