Speed cheat: HackerV.52 / noname7373

Hello there,

There was  this guy speedcheating on a public server.

Since he is wearing a noname nick, i hope Davew could help finding the IP of this guy.

- His Nick:  Noname7373

- Times : ~02:20 AM Central European Time , On the 28th of december 2015.

- Suspected of Speedcheating ( thats obvious )

- Server: Davew_nix_1 ( a public server )

if you still used IRC you could have let me know when it was happening and i could have grabbed the ip address from the rcon program i use to monitor the server

Alright, thank you for your answer. I'm not sure on what does the committee need to get him banned, so i'll let them answer the thread with it.

logfiles set to 3 on all 5 servers now.....not that it will make a difference..

Well, if you are helping to tracking down cheaters, then yeah, it will make the difference but it's up to you anyways.

Yup, saw this guy too. And also the day after some dude was speeding in the same serv. Can't remember his name.

Merging these topics, as it looks like the same person (same IP).

Dave, are you using the default settings for time discrepancy?  sv_enforcetime I think is the setting, I think.  You might want to remove that from your config and use the defaults if you have it set, as speed cheats should automatically result in a kick, now.

ok i commented out  3 lines in each cfg
and removed the code  and lets see what heppens..
but it was just kicking everyone off the windows 2012 vps within 5 minutes...  hence why it was added
//set override_defaults 1
//set ball_speed 4000
//set sv_enforcetime2 0

has been removed from all 8 servers cfg files now.. if many people get kicked?? we will have to re add them in..

ok tried this on the NIX servers no issues
but if i conecto to any of my 3 windows servers and even add bots and play for a few seconds we get kicked again.

All 4 of my home computers , all using windows 7
the one laptop was just reloaded 2 days ago ..
 


windows server is  ver 2012  and the latest files from aug 2015 of the DP version

so the windows servers will have to have  //set sv_enforcetime2 0
