Visual lag and netspikes for all players on a server
« on: July 29, 2006, 12:49:20 AM »
While matching today with 3v3 or something we all shared visual lag on the rotating guns. They seemed to rotate 1/2 speed and choppy, this being the only visual adnormality.  netspikes. FPS was around 250.

We did notice the time in the score board was for all of us -200.

What would be the root cause and fix?

stop trying to blame things on root, all your base belongs to root.

This happens when packets from the server are dropped.

It's most likely on the server end of things.  Is it still acting up?  If it was a just a brief thing, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it was network lag, probably not.
