The author doesn't know where its at, but if it is in Japan, "western toilets" are still uncommon in locations other than large cities with tourists. (Tokyo)
Japanese toilets rock. Weak-flush, strong-flush, spray your butt with water, airdry your butt, a button that sprays good scents to cover up your smell, a button that makes a flush sound to cover up you ripping, sometimes heated seats, etc...
Hell yeah I'd eat while sitting on one, just not eat out of one.
