turn on Player id

Can any one tell me how to set my server to turn on Player id automatically when a player joins?

Strangely, since I updated the GRaFFiTi servers to the latest serverside build my id is set to ON automatically when I join the server.  Nowhere in any of my configs have I added the id command.

I'm sure Jitspoe will enlighten us shortly if there is a serverside command/setting or if you just have to have the most recent serverside update.

my ID is going on by itself..without id.

PiCaSSo: I simply enabled id by default in the new build.  There's no config setting for it.

I've seen it on some servers but not everywhere.  It's a cool feature for sure, especially when you're jammin in there with friends.

i have put the "id" in the config file and it still not working

i have also try it in the server.cfg too with no joy.

could it be the way i start the server up???

i have a shortcut from the paintball2.exe

with this added to the target:

C:\Games\Paintball2\paintball2.exe  +set dedicated 1 +set public 1 +exec server.cfg +map 2ways

is this the right way???
