I don't remember, but that sounds like the same card Calrathan has.  Have you done any driver updates recently?  We'll have to see if it still happens with build 10.  I've changed some of the rendering stuff around.

I have a radeon mobility 9200.

However I am running 3rd party Omega drivers [tweaked versions of the offical ATI drivers].

I havent been able to narrow down when it crashes, except that it SOMETIMES does when I alt-tab.

It completely freezes my computer all the time it seems.  I cant even ctrl-alt-del and reboot.  I believe i have the latest driver version.  Its not a problem, I dont personally need to alt-tab out.  I have 2 other computers I can use.  Its just something that has only happened in the alpha versions, though I havent played much till just the last 4 months or so, so i cant say with which version it started.

Well i discovered something.  If I alt-tab out of the game, my system freezes.  But if ctrl-alt-del to bring up the task manager from in the game (not after an alt-tab), it doesnt freeze, though when i go back to the game its all screwed up and i have to vid_restart.

Hm.  Mine will lock up if I set my cl_maxfps too high.  It's fine at about 100, but if I set it to like 500, hardlock.  'course it does that with just about any game.  Any time the card is taxed too long, it hardlocks.
