Pickups
« on: November 01, 2006, 10:00:50 AM »
so yeah, as you all undoubtedly know there is a DP PUG channel on ETG.  PUGS are usually fun to play in and what not, but i just wanted to voice mt opinion on something because every time i play this pisses me off.  After everyone has signed up, i think it would be fair to assign team captains (maybe the first 2 who signed up??) and have them pick teams on irc, rather than just going into the server and joining the team with your best friend on it.  The game I've played in have been extremely lopsided and i believe that by setting a team picking standard it would improve the amount of PUGS there are, the organization, and the team play. that is all.

The pug bot automatically assigns team captains. It also Pm's everyone who signed up to play.  I have full control over the bot, and I am willing to give control to anyone who wont abuse it.  Also, people play under aliases so we never know who is who, which obviously makes the teams lopsided.
