Paint Depot Tournament 1

Saturday Night 2/14/04 @ 9 PM EST paint depot servers will be hosting a quick single elmination 2v2 tournament.

This weeks map will be shazam, time limit will be 5 minutes and score limit will be 20. Show up @ irc.enterthegame.com #DepotTourney by 8:30 pm EST to sign up.

First place team wins a permanent name@paintdepot.net email address and 1 weeks worth of level 50 admin rights on PD servers.


Rules.

1. No one may play on more than 1 team.
2. Cheating is of course not allowed.
3. No abusive behaviour beyond a little trash talking will be tolerated

No, besides there will be several servers running simultaneously.  I may use the server to record some of the matches however.

i have played it hundreds of times but my parter (also my brother) has not played it that much and its allways a good thing to maybe go over some moves on the map.

so there is a turny once a week?  will you win somthing every week or just for fun? cause when me and my brother played it was just for fun i dont care about being admin or getting my name on the paintdepot site.

It would be interesting to have a tournament set up between real clans where there are just a couple matches a week, but with stricter rules and have them be a bigger deal (something like college football).  I'd really like to see a tourney like that with ffire ON.

In due time jit. There are not enough active clans at the moment to pull something like that off. So this is a substitution for now. It's all we got. Maybe a league will arise eventually. We can only hope.... Hopefully this will get people back into the matching spirit. Already i have seen a few brand new clans and the future looks promising.
