Why don't you modify your posts and fix your image links before you post more?
Also, use the screenshot key in paintball2 (F12 is the default, I think) instead of posting images of your whole desktop.

For the textures, you would want one that has the lettering on it so you don't have to write it out with numerous brushes.

Well, that would be better in some ways and worse in others. I could make the text and colors more interesting but then it wouldn't physically stand out. I would say a texture would be better though. The only reason i mentioned textures is b/c i thought that the main blue texture was to ruff, and well bad.

I'm not sure what you mean by "get up close to your brushes". The map should be in c:\paintball2\pball\maps\inprogress\yourmap.bsp. You can just send it to somebody or zip it up and attach it to a post here.
