Your researched is flawed, also as I said before it is highly speculated that Romans sophisticatedly painted the inside of their stone structures, as well as the Greeks. Please just add some more textures it looks so bland.

how was my research flawed, the buildings are similar, but i never expected a grave texture to look more accurate then Uwall

i added colored blocks to the roofs in little diamond shapes to tell base from base. it's a start, but like i said i only release ss's first for the sake of criticism of the beginning stages

uwall is a wood texture.

To really pull this off well, you'd need new textures with like painted carvings of people and stuff on them.  That'd be a heck of a lot of work, though.

Here's the map.  I'll just release it under the GPL if anybody wants to run with it.   It's not really feasible because of the size/r_speeds.  I didn't make it the full length, either (nor is anything measured).  Kind of sloppy brushwork on the pillars, too.
