Does anyone know how i can get IRC to work at school? It seems like its blocked or something but there has to be a way around it ;P

You can set up some kind if excrement at home and take the site name to school. type it into the address bar and it will allow you to connect to your home internet and browse threw it.. I will repost here in a little with the name of the program

www.ircatwork.com is a good one. If that is blocked, than you will have to resort to using SSH tunneling. :p

if you go to clanclik.com and use taz's own irc program he made it and it doesnt get blocked by schools

I am not in school, but I have gotten irc to work on my pocket pc phone. That way you can use it in any class and look like you are taking notes :)

That's great for schools that aren't blocking various ports, but for those with decent firewalls...

well there is no way to unblock ports if your in school...or is there ?? haha, i wouldnt wanna mess with school settings, but yeah, you could use Trillian, i have, but dunno if ports would be blocked, if you find a good irc, lemme know..
