I was just wondering how to weild a gun, if you can reply, it'd be really helpful, thanks!

First you need to be in an active game an on a team.  Then all you do is simply walk over a weapon to pick it up.  To pick up a different weapon, drop your current weapon (1 is the default key) and walk over the new one.
