Try setting cl_sleep to 0, and make sure you don't have any processes running in the background (like virus scanners) bogging your machine down.

okay jits :)

the choppyness went down alot and the fps stayed in the 40 range.

buttt i have one more problem.

before i had gotten this computer and i was playing on my old comp. it use to feel like i was moving fast. well idk.

like...

when i got this computer it feels like im running slow and when im in the air im going slow...any anwser to that?

Play around with your fov. Crank it up to 130 and you "move" really fast. :)
