Hey texture help!!

First of all if this should be in help and support plz move it there second how do you make i'll say barrels round?

you make them round by adding more sides in either n-sided brush or cylinder, i wouldn't recommend it though

Its just i dont really want square barrels and do you get cylinder brush??

make it 8 sided. that looks fairly nice. cylinder is more for a hollowed out center so not very useful for a barrel, but it would be in the "make" dropdown menu

The smoothing isn't that nice. Plus, it looks kinda ugly.

then put 8 in the sides value, and like 25 for radius

Yup, it's called phong shading in ArghRad.  Do this by setting the same "value" on all the sides (but not the top and bottom) of a barrel.  The barrel textures have a value set by default, but it can cause problems when one barrel touches another (they try to blend together).  Each barrel really needs to have its own value set.

Edit: I figured out how thanks but while we're on a mapping topic I would like to know if there is anyway i could make a new sort of 1-flag but with no teams.

...no. That sounds silly, anyway. You'd need a separate base for each player, or one base for all players. The latter would lead to massive camping.

The thing is I'm creating a no team maze where you have to find the flag and KOTH would be sort of dumb for that type of thing what do you think Jits?
And yes basicly like that Zorchenheimer or maybe a KOTH where you could pick it up.

I'm in no hurry to add new game modes since most of the ones that already exist hardly get used.  I'll add a new one if enough people vote for it in the 2007 feature request thread, though.  Why not just make it team based?

I dont want to because then its more of a team thing when i want it to be more individual but I guess I could just make it smaller then. The reason why I thought I could is because you didn't design the first KOTH map.
