Console HELP ASAP PLZ

when i go to console to connect to the server i just made i type in the ip and it just keep coming up with the same message

NEt_getpacker: wsaeconnrest from
the ip adress i types
connecting to the ip

what dose this mean it just keeps comming up also it is on the server list

You probably have to connect using the LAN IP, or 127.0.0.1.  That or your ports aren't forwarded correctly if you're using your external ip.

yea it work with lan ip but i want to play my friend so dose the lan ip work with him or no

Not unless he is on the same LAN as you. If not, PortForward.com is where you need to go.

i config my router  to do the port thing

You also need to make sure that your firewall isn't blocking packets on port 27910.

Another thing to check is to make sure that your virus scan isn't interfering with the port at all.

I had the NET_GetPacket problem on my server but the server still worked fine.

Not sure if this is the problem but you may not be forwarding the right portocol for the packets.
In your router settings you should be able to set protocol to Both (both being TCP and UDP). Do that and see what happens.
