In the coordinates on the grids in BSP, [Grid 64, scale 50%], about how many feet would you say a grid square is equal to?

Take a look at this: http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/testwiki1/pb2wiki.php?word=Quick+Reference

EDIT:
Quote
8 units roughly equal 1 foot [30.5 cm].

1 foot is actually more like 9.3 units... unless the players are 7-8 feet tall.

yeah, i wondered why everything seemed smaller...

I didn't figure this was worth another topic, so can anyone help me with BSPBuild? Where do i need to extract the files to for it to work. also, do i need to have quake? its asking me to specify quake.exe. i have q2, but it keeps getting deleted from my computer, and now it just wont save to it anymore.

also, when I try to compile my map, it says i need to have BSPBuild in the bsp_build directory. so would that be c:\bsp_build? bcuz i have it there, and copied in c:\bsp, so i have it in both and it STILL doesn't work.

You don't even need to use BSPBuild. That should actually be removed from that menu. Use 'qbsp.bat' for test compiles, and 'qbsp vis rad.bat' or 'final compile.bat' for final compiles, or lighting tests.

the wiki says players are 7, so mystery solved i guess. so it would be 8?
