You're in luck, we have a large assortment of guides and documentation within the Mapping section of the forum, dedicated to teaching newbies BSP.  Please check there.

Incapable of traveling to the Mapping part of the forum? Perhaps map-making is a little over your head. :(

ummm...thats what those files it gives you are for...it explains what to do...so in case some of that doesn't make sense then you should read those.
