Digital Paintball Engine
« on: May 11, 2005, 06:14:37 AM »
Hi there Everyone.

I used to play digital paintball i think it was the Half Life mod. However i have moved onto Linux now and was looking around to see if there was a paintball game that was not a MOD that could be on Linux.

Now i have 2 questions :-

1, Is Digital Paint Paintball 2 a upgraded version of Digital Paintball?
2. Are you using the quake engine that was released under the GPL Licence?

Thanks

Gah. Digital Paintball 2 is not at all the Half Life mod. It's Quake2 based. There was a quake1 version, hence the 2.

Digital Paintball is a half-life mod -- they kind of stole our name.  Digital Paint Paintball 2 is based off of the Quake2 engine, which was released under the GPL.

heh, I guess so. It, hands down, wouldn't match the level of a uni degree.
