how do i change the colors of my name, because i see other people with it but they are to busy being excretory openings to help me answer the question

You have to be a level 20 Dungeon Master first.

Then you type menu setup_funname in the console.

Or if you have build 18 go to Setup, Multiplayer Setup, and then were your name is there is a button under there that says Advanced.

what about the clan tag when making a new clan is there a way to change it ive heard its like ^1 but if so i do not know the colors

The clan tag is part of your name, so you can do anything with that that you can with your name.

nvm sry for bothering you jits i think the problem was i was exactly on the 30 limit char. and it was declining my new names cuz i had a space so i fixed it

You can have a space if you put your name in quotes, "like this".

Is there a limit on how many diffenent colours u can use cos i keep getting kicked when i use multiple colours

Your name can be about 30 characters total.  Colors count as 2.
