Clan Tag Confusion

I have a new problem. When I use one of my aliases with my clan tag I get kicked.

I get kicked using this name: >LeG<CaNDYMaN

But if I use: >LeG<CaNDYMaN

Then I don't get kicked. So why would having colors make a difference. I don't think I am going over the 30 character limit.

Maybe its jitspoes in-built "choose a cooler name" validation?

I just estimated it at 30 because i saw about 7-8 color switches which are 2 each, and the name is 13.

I don't know. Jits always says the maximum is "about 30" maybe it's 29
