Actually, I just named the map shazam33. Shazam33_alt was the old map. I think the only reason it existed was because there was a bug in the entity loading code that caused the new shazam33 to crash sometimes.
The map still has issues even after your tweaks. You can still "see" basically everything in the map from one base to the other (1st shot). It might just need some well placed hint brushes, but I think it has to do more with all the cracks and misaligned brushes (2nd shot). It would probably be less work to make a new map from scratch, and do it right, than get this one all fixed up, I think.
