Stupid Cheaters in DP piss me off.

I understand we won't be able to get rid of all of them, but getting rid of some of them will be a start.

Cookie, that is true.  However, with the decreased size in the community, only one pball server is ever populated.  This fact nearly eliminates the option of going to another server, because it might be only one or two people then, which we know isn't always fun!  (cept when I make Sprinks call me daddy)

oh i agree there isn't enough servers and yes it may reduce the amount of cheaters, but the fact will remain, ppl will find ways around it. then we will 'patch' it and then they will find a new way of cheating. i dont cheat cause i dont need too and yes i suck,... but at least i suck for real. i laught @ the ppl that cheat and manage to still suck......

As much as I hate cheaters, it's kind of a waste of time for me to run that anti-cheat program. It doesn't appear very effective and I know lots of similar anti-cheat things for half-life didn't really work either (PunkBuster). I'm sure lots of people will find a way to cheat.

But DP is a pretty small community. I find it pretty hard to believe that anyone will be able to get away with cheating in clan matches for very long. And it's kind of obvious when it happens isn't it?

I know I stopped using it when I realized it never really did anything anyways.  As you can see from the first screenshot, people have fake ones.

I've noticed a few times, what I thought was cheating.  But I guess you can never be to sure.  Becuase I've caught myself a number of times getting lucky on just timing of grens or a few random shots catching people.

So I guess you can't be too sure.

Heh, most likely not.  DM bots are one thing, but giving bots stratigy... pb2 bots will prolly just be for target practice.... tho they'd prolly do fine on sandtrap and crates since there's no stratigy involved
