WTF so frustrating

bro every time I play paintball I get major lag, Its not my comp cause I run AA (americas army) jus fine.

Jus wondering should I delete everything and reinstall the game.

Get non-poor internet.

do netgraph 1 in console and let us see it. otherwise check your settings and make sure you're not running any unnecessary processes in the background.

just save your maps and config, uninstall, then reinstall see if it works. if its the same then i could quite possibly be your computer.

All my other games work perfectly and I know it dont take as much to run paintball as it does the other ones.

I did netgraph but nothings showing up, but yet paintball onlygame lagging.

Just remember to do backup (like maps etc...).

3. what are your typical ping times to servers.
4. are you running zone alarm?
5. are you running a router?
6. what other programs are you running in the background?

Just because other programs don't SHOW lag doesn't mean they don't HAVE lag.

Have you tried changing your transmit rate? If AA runs fine maybe DP is just not set to send enough packets. Most cable/dsl can handle rates of 10000-24000

Type in "/rate 15000" in the console and see if that helps.

Funny thing is I have the complete opposite problem.

Atmays, would you mind providing a demo with netgraph on? If this is a consistant problem then it shouldn't be that hard to duplicate.

OK I GOT A DEMO

It didnt show much spikes but It did lag very bad

IT was enough spikes though especially around the 1:08 mark


Sorry I took so long to reply but im real busy ith my music

I do netgraph on hudscale 1 and I dont see any spikes or nothing

im dsl and I average like a 68 ping, Have no clue aht zone alarm is and not running a router

I have Vent or TS and AIM running mostly

I have always did this since I started playin , so i dont know why it would act up now
