Wireless, need some help.

Ok i got a laptop with a wireless card that only supports WEP and my access point is WPA2, my desktop has 2 wireless cards is it possible to have 1 on the desktop connect to the AP and the other an adhoc and have the laptop connect to the adhoc and then get internet working on the laptop?

You should be able to change you Access Point to WEP if you are the administrator.

Max, yes, but you need to set up internet connection sharing thru your wep sireless card.

And as KiLo mentioned, you should be able to do wep on your AP.

I dont want to change the AP to wep, any of you have a tutorial on how to set the adhoc up and stuff?

NVM! I got it working and i used wep on the adhoc network. thanks guys
