I introduced a friend to Paintball 2 this weekend, and he said he's seen our site before, but never knew what this was for. It's been said that 1.8 seconds is all a web developer has to draw people to their site (source?)
I know this is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way but I think we need to look into a more content-driven front page. Our front page right now is news, and there is no information on what this site is for, one could probably easily deduce that this is for a game, but there's no indication of how good it is, what makes it different, or even that it's free. There's also no links that could be easily interpreted as 'about' or 'info' for the game...
I'm posting this not to whine, or complain about Jitspoe's site, but so that maybe Jitspoe will give the green light to the Committee to re-design the front-page in such a way that it has a little bit more information, and some screenies at the least.
Thanks,
