Heh, for some reason that works for me, but the native doesn't. Go figure.

I'd just like to point out that on my machine (specs below) the linux version runs on average 600-900 fps on windows it reaches about 200-300 fps....

Which one do you think is more effective ?

Althon-X2 4400
1GB
geforce 8500
gentoo , opensuse10.3 - winexcremente XP

P.S all games that have a Linux version seem to run faster (and smoother) in Linux including Quake 4...

Uh, something's seriously messed up with your configuration or driver installation then.  There's no way there should be a 3x framerate difference between the two.  Sounds like you're just trolling.
