playing but observing... huh?

today a few hours ago when i was playing i switched to observer to go get something to drink.
then when i got back i switched to a team.
and when the round started it was like i was observing but was on a team and had a gun and all.
also when the round starts it is like if you spawned right where you where when you where observing.
it can be fixed by going to observer and switching to a team again, that has happened a few times when im playing.

Weird.  What server was this on?  Can you get some screenshots and/or demos of it?

i cant remember what server it was but i was playing and i dont think i might be able to give you a demo or screenshot because it is something that has happened like 4 times.
also when i tried to join a team i used the button autojoin and it sayd invalid team.

Oh.  You're probably playing on a server with an old version.  I think that bug has been fixed already.  That's why I asked what server it was on.

Are you camming while in observer mode or while eliminated?

So you were observer camming someone, the camming target died, and you joined a team?  Did you join before or after the next round started?
