i get cleaner, crisper graphics and no drop in fps.   ;D

it looks like that's because you have cl_maxfps or whatever set to 100. Set that to 0.

...lol oops ;) *blush*  which also can be set to 0 which would be the same as changing it via the slider in options.  duh :/  i felt i was on to something but i was deceived by the pics :P  [please delete this post]

It should be set to 0 by default.  The framerate shouldn't be affected unless you have a really old (or crappy) graphics card.

So what does my capping my rate at 10000 and bain recomended clmaxfps 125 ...do? Is there a tweak I am missing?
