Ok, before you make any more maps, you need to learn how to align textures.

Make a small map with 3 boxes -- each a different size -- and align the textures on them.  In BSP, hit "S" to bring up the surface dialog.  There are values for the scale and offset of the texture.  Play around with them and get a feel for how they work, then align the textures on the 3 boxes.

Some tips: if you make a 64x64 box on a 64x64 grid, it's already aligned, you can then press alt-L to lock the texture and move it around on a smaller grid.  On a 32x32 grid for a 32x32 box, you can do the same thing, but you need first scale the texture to 0.5 (both x and y).

Once you've done that, post a screenshot or the .map.  Then we'll work on lighting.

you can also align textures by pressing shift+click and then move mouse i think that in this way the texture moves but if you press ctrl i think you make it smaller or larger.

I don't encourage this method as it's very imprecise.  You'll end up with all kinds of textures that are a couple pixels out of alignment.  It's much better to snap things to a grid, lock the texture, then move -- it's faster and the alignment is exact.

Sometimes, I have to shift-click align. Then, I just align the texture to the nearest 5, look at it, and align further.

Nearest 5?  You'd want the nearest multiple of 4 or 8 in most cases.
