What I use to do to learn different jumps was create my own server in debug 1 mode and practice whatever jump i was trying to do until I could do it well enough to be able to do it in game with people shooting at you/etc...

Not knowing what you said :)  . I assume you set the map in some way to allow you to jump over and over ...etc?

Thanks for the help. Is the debug 1 mode the exact cmd in console?

debug1 1 just lets you play the map without any other players.  Type it at the console.

I could never really double jump. Then I started playing Q2JumpMod, and I can nail almost any jump possible. To use the "backdoor" Blitz mentioned for xbmap1, you need to use 34 fps on the triple. It's a much higher difficulty level than the normal double jump.

Similar to Blitz when I practiced jumps I would do it until I could perform it backwards.  Of course most jumps are useless unless you know how to line them up for running approaches.  Once you stop moving your opponents fire is going to catch up with you.
Triple jumps are harder to come by, ksplat2 blue base is my favorite triple.
