New stuff and a Dilemma
« on: January 03, 2008, 04:40:00 PM »
So the lotus my parents just bought arrived today pics here:

Then my parents bought a new computer in which my problem came. pics here:

So this computer has vista on it. After using it for awhile, I can't decide if I should take the free upgrade to vista on my laptop. I heard that with vista, you can't run a lot of old programs (ms dos games). This is what I can not decide upon, whether or not to get the free upgrade to vista on my laptop.

Spook

I just bought a new HP that runs vista, and so far I haven't seen any problems with it interferring with games. So far I've ran DP, CSS, and AOE 2 perfectly fine.

How loaded are your parents?! That's a nice lotus

Vista doesn't like giving up the entire screen to DOS programs (ie. games).  You need to run them through a DOS emulator like DOSBox.

Yes it is an Elise, and where else would you put a new car other than in a garage when it is raining? XD

Nice choice on the Lotus Elise. I'm not a fan of the compact roadsters, but it's a nice car nevertheless. The only small roadster that I would get is the Tesla Roadster because this car means no more paying for gas ;D (but double the price of the Elise's price to start with :()
