DPLogin question
« on: January 18, 2008, 02:37:22 PM »
Is there a possible way to add a "training" team category to a Clans regular page on DPlogin.com ?

-Edit- so we can approve of the people who join and not just someone letting a bunch of people in?

What do you mean, who is the person letting a bunch of people joining???

There are only a handful of clans that should have a "training" clan, doing this is a baaad idea.

ps. is this a feature request?

Actually it makes a lot of sense to put the training clan on the same page as the main clan.

And I don't think it would necessarily be a training clan, but simply a trial stage of the joining process to see how all of a clan's recruits/new players handle certain matching situations, etc.

Instead of registering a clan for a training team and having someone not in [eW] manage it, I want to be able to have the Leaders of [eW] accept/reject people.

Lekky, who are you to not let a clan have a training clan if they choose to?  Of course it's a good idea.  If a clan wants to be able to manage their training clan on DPLogin, you either need a duplicate account or make it possible to add a training clan on DP Login.

I'm no one to not let a clan have a training clan if they choose. I was just giving my opinion on it :/

Training clans are both a good idea, and a bad idea.

A training clan would be a bad idea if a "noob" clan were to run it. Now I can't remember the names but I know there are a few clans that just starts out with a regular squad and a training squad.

I resemble that remark :)
