Shazam22 .ent file
« on: December 29, 2007, 03:01:10 AM »
Sorry, not sure where to put this thread because it could apply to Servers, Matching, Mapping, etc.

Anyways could someone please make an entity file for shazam22 so that the blue side spawns with steel barrels like   the red side?  Half the time the blue side has brass barrels which is a huge disadvantage when the other team has steel.  It would be useful at least on the match servers because it's always a pain trying to decide who gets what color when Shazam22 is the tie map.

this has bothered me for some time as well, so i went ahead and made a .ent file for it

changes:
1) barrels are all steel
2) blue barrels were moved into positions equivalent to the position red barrels were already in
3) i swapped the position of the co2 and hopper near the crates by the flags to increase the chance you pick up the hopper before picking up the ammo pack
4) i moved the ammo next to the crates by the flags a couple units away from the hopper so you don't accidentally pick up the ammo before the hopper

everything else is unchanged

i'm out of town till jan 7th, so if there are any problems discovered before that date, someone else will need to fix them

edit: i added (e) to the map info when you connect so you'll know right off the bat if the equal equipment .ent is used on the server

Thanks Herron.

Can server admins please put this on their servers? (Match servers at the least)

It's on the #eR33t-Gaming match servers now.  Did a quick run around with the .ent loaded and it seems good.

But Loial is the only one of them who goes on the forums, so he could tell them about it.
