Inventory Software

I figure now is the perfect time to make a note of everything I own and where it's located.  Anybody know of some good, simple, and preferably free inventory software?  I was just going to whip up a simple database or something, but if there's already software for this, I might as well take advantage of it.

Edit: I'm trying out III Home Inventory.

why not just code one yourself? its not like you dont know how to code or anything......

did you try googling "free inventory software?" there are quite a few that you might like.
