My game shuts down

when i click "update" to get the server list, my game shuts down. I do admit to having hax on my comp for quake 2,(trust me not my fault, but you wont believe my story if i told you). But anyways, is that the problem? i really want to get back into playing but like i said, my game shuts down when i click "update"

hmm there once was supposed to be a fix for that... and, with build14, it was said that this problem wouldnt occur anymore.  I do have build14 and still the game crashing when i want to update or refresh the serverlist, no idea why, but I just use HLSW now to connect to games...
