Setting Up A Server
« on: November 21, 2005, 12:15:42 AM »
Hi, I come from South Australia, here we dont have any servers setup for paintball, I'm trying to setup a LISTEN server for me and my friends.

I've forwarded port 27910 to my comp, I've allowed 29710 in the firewall. I've added +set public 1 to the Target thingy.

It won't contact the serverlist.

Any help?

You have to have a dedicated server for it to show up on the public server list.  If you just want to play with your friends, though, you can start a listen server and have them manually connect to your ip by typing "connect <your ip>" at the console.

Okay, already had my friends playing on it. They are a bit dumb when it comes to those console commands, so no point making a listen server.
