OK well about a year ago i quit playing DP2. well i might get back into it not exactly sure yet but i registered this account. my old one was mattattack or mattmurder or something along those lines, i dont really want/care about that account but when i registered it said that you only get one and if you find a 2nd one you get banned. but i dont cheat or anything so this shouldnt be a problem right?

You should have posted here first.  We would have been able to just "reset" the account.  If no complications come up (in the logs) you should be ok.

A year ago?  The database records were wiped a in June, that's probably why you couldn't access it..
