JPG textures in BSP?
« on: February 24, 2003, 09:49:44 AM »
I feel like a n00b asking this, but getting BSP support on the internet is impossible, and this question is rather paintball-specific. How do I use the new jpeg textures in BSP? I know I can map just fine using the old textures, but beyond the obvious reason of wanting to see what I'm doing, I want arghrad to get the surface lighting colours correct.

I belive theres a readme Jit added in the BSP file on the site to help you out.. not sure if you can use the jpg's because I remeber him telling someone you still had to use the old q2 DP.

Yeah, bsp doesn't support jpg's -- you need to have the old .wal files.
