Can I see model render in BSP ?
« on: June 27, 2008, 07:16:38 AM »
Hi all, I'd like to know if I can see the model in BSP, like for Hammer.

Is it possible ?

I think it's possible for md2 files, but I'm not sure exactly how to get them to display.

If there is a way, it would be sweet.  If there isn't, would there be a way to implement a way to?

They can be displayed as shown by the info_player_deathmatch by setting them in the models settings file in the BSP directory, however I'm not sure it works for func_model.

Can we add sprites to BSP ? To test, it would be easier for solid models (you add a clip around the model)

I don't have the current source code, so I can't.

Ah, what a pitty...

Well, we'll have to do solid models with hasard until the feature isn't implemented

Zorch does, but it compiles only on so ancient a copy of Borland C that he doesn't know the version.

That's the old version of bsp.  Sort rewrote all of that stuff so it complies on visual studio now as well as added a ton of other features and fixes.

Oh.

Well Zorch had it from Sort, so I guess he has that version.
