When I join a game on any server, I can play for a few minutes before i got kicked from the server with following error

failed hardware check.

I am using Linux opensuse 10.3, paintball2 V2.00 alpha build 21

hope somebody can help solving my problem

I believe this can happen if you don't have gcrypt installed.  There may be some other necessary libraries as well.

I am facing the same problem. I am using opensuse 10.3 and 11 and I have gcrypt installed. Still kicks me out randomly after a few minutes

This is why we use windows instead of Linux for this game. You never know what you are going to get since the Linux version isn't all that stable.
